Salma Hayek got married in Paris, because she thought is would be very romantic to get married on Valentines Day in Paris. My thoughts on this whole thing is that I really do not care, because if you want to go and throw your money away and go all the way to Paris on V-day to get married then more power to you. But I would rather spend the money on a bigger better wedding back at home and then also use some of the money to go on a bigger and better honey moon.
